The best Warden 308 loadout in Black Ops 7 is by far the best one-hit kill machine in the game, and while you can quickscope with it in lieu of a proper sniper rifle, our recommended loadout actually forgoes a high-zoom scope in favor of something a little simpler. However, if you do want to quickscope, you can simply replace our recommended optic with a sniper scope.

This is a semi-automatic marksman rifle with a firing delay, which means it's essentially akin to a bolt action, albeit without the rechambering of the bullet each time. With its high damage, it's usually a one-shot kill, at most two, and compared to the other two marksman rifles, it's the best at long range. As a result, it has a spot on our list of the best Black Ops 7 guns.

To unlock the Warden 308 in Black Ops 7, you just need to reach level 25. You'll unlock it alongside the Arc M1 launcher, which is a great tool for taking down enemy scorestreaks, and reaching level 25 shouldn't take long at all, maybe a couple of hours of multiplayer at most, quicker if you have double XP tokens.

To get the first controversial pick in this loadout out of the way, the optic attachment you choose here is purely personal preference. The build works better with one between 1-2x zoom, and our favorite is the PrismaTech Digital Holo, but anything from the Greaves Red Dot to the Lethal Tools ELO can also work.

We're not focused on increasing the damage range with this gun. Instead, we want to enable as much mobility and handling as possible, so you can run around and almost pseudo-quickscope. The barrel attachment we've picked does a lot for this, with aim down sight and sprint to fire speeds being buffed, as does the magazine, rear grip, and laser. Meanwhile, the stock buffs your movement speed.

We want to be as accurate as possible too though, so anything that improves the recoil is welcome. The Watchdog Compensator is a big help for this due to the vertical recoil control buff, and the Buffer Spring improves both horizontal and vertical control.

This is very similar to our best M8A1 loadout, despite the difference in playstyles, but for good reason. Gunfighter is required for the additional three attachments, and since the Warden 308 is a single-shot weapon, switching to the Coda 9 is necessary to melt enemies who get a little too close.

The Drone Pod is often complained about by Black Ops 7 players due to how frustrating its drones are, so if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right? Meanwhile, Stun Grenades are a handy tool when entering rooms and the Combat Axe is another lethal option if you run out of ammo in a fight.

As for the perks, Lightweight helps you fly around the map at top speed, while Dexterity is helpful for similar reasons, reducing your weapon motion and the amount of fall damage you take. Fast Hands is here solely for the Coda 9 weapon switch, so you can pull it out quicker, and this enables the Tactician specialty, which is useful for when you only manage to injure an enemy instead of killing them.
